The Corporate Asset Manager provided a summary of the report indicating the requirements to secure the Council owed property.
The Strategic Director was satisfied with the report and agreed to authorise the Decision Notice.

Resolved by the Strategic Director
i) To allocate £300,000 to the General Fund revenue budget for 2021/22 and a further £300,000 to the General Fund revenue budget for 2022/23 to allow for the estimated revenue costs. These costs being funded from the Property Reserve. This will be done prior to the contract being awarded.
ii) The approval is given to seek by way of tender a contractor to carry out security services at the premises.

iii) That the 2020/21 unbudgeted revenue costs of £174,400 for the temporary security arrangement on-site in accordance with delegated powers to take decisions in emergencies, these costs have been included in the forecasted outturn for 2020/21.
