The Town Centre Manager provided a summary of the report. The report sought authority from the Portfolio Holder for Environment and Leisure to publish Mansfield District Council’s proposed Civil Enforcement Off Street Parking Places Order 2021, for consultation in accordance with the statutory requirements. In addition approval was required to proceed to the making of the Proposed Off Street Parking Places order 2021 if no objections were received.
The recommendations were:
(i) Authorisation to publish Mansfield District Council’s Proposed Civil Enforcement Off-Street Parking Places Order 2021 in the local press for consultation.
(ii) Authorisation to proceed to make the Civil Enforcement Off-Street Parking Places Order 2021 if no objections are received at the consultation stage.
(iii) Authorisation to publish the final and approved Civil Enforcement Off-Street Parking Places Order 2021.
(iv) Authorisation to revoke the (Civil Enforcement Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2018, the (Civil Enforcement Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation) Order 2019 and 2020 on the introduction of (iii).
(v) Authorisation to instruct the Shared Legal Team to complete the above mentioned process.
(vi) Authorisation to make minor or typographical amendments.
The Officer advised that Notice would be available on the website, at the Civic, the Town Hall, in Car Parks and would also be advertised in the Chad. All statutory consultees and partners would also receive a copy of the notice.
The Portfolio Holder for Environment and Leisure was satisfied with the report and approved the recommendations.
