The Committee considered an application for Approval of reserved matters application for 400 dwellings, public open space, landscaping and associated drainage infrastructure including suds features - following approval of Variation of Condition Planning Application, 2020/0397/VCON (under outline ref - 2017/0816/out - outline application for up to 400 dwellings, together with associated highway works, public open space, landscaping and associated drainage infrastructure including suds features) at land at Stonebridge Lane Warsop.

The Committee was advised that reasons for Conditions 5, 6 and 7 within the report contained a typographical error. The reasons for those conditions as drafted referred to Local Plan Policy P6 (Home extension) but should in fact refer to Policy P2 (safe, healthy and attractive development). In response to questioning on this issue, the Officer confirmed that this error could be amended without affecting the substance of the Condition.’

The Committee considered a retrospective application for the change of use from Agricultural to B8 (General Storage) at The Buildings Longster Lane, Sookholme, Mansfield.

Councillor Wright proposed and Councillor Answer seconded that the application be refused planning permission for reasons outlined in the report.

The motion being put to the vote it was announced that the motion be carried by 11 votes for with 0 votes against and 0 abstentions.

The Committee considered an application which was a resubmission of Planning Application 2021/0352/FUL - (residential development of 16 affordable houses with new roads, infrastructure, external works and landscaping) - residential development of 15 No. dwellings with new roads, infrastructure, external works and landscaping at land between Longden Terrace and Pavilion Close Warsop.

Since the publication of the report the applicant had submitted an updated tree report and landscaping plan detailing how trees onsite would be retained. In particular the lime outside plots 8–10. These details would still need to be considered and would be dealt with via the conditions detailed on the report. There had also been some discussion prior to the Committee meeting with the Ward Councillor, raising some concern about site operator parking during construction. It was therefore proposed to update Condition 5 for the applicant to submit details of site operator parking.

Councillor Wetton proposed and Councillor Elliman seconded that the application be granted planning permission subject to the prior completion of a Section 106 Agreement and with conditions as detailed in the report, with the amendment to Condition 5 for the applicant to submit details of site operator parking.

The motion being put to the vote it was announced that the motion be carried by 11 votes for with 0 votes against and 0 abstentions.

Land between Longden Terrace and Pavilion Close, Warsop
RESOLVED - That the resubmission of Planning Application 2021/0352/FUL - (residential development of 16 affordable houses with new roads, infrastructure, external works and landscaping) - residential development of 15 No. dwellings with new roads, infrastructure, external works and landscaping at land between Longden Terrace and Pavilion Close Warsop be granted planning permission subject to the prior completion of a Section 106 Agreement and with conditions as detailed in the report, with the amendment to Condition 5 for the applicant to submit details of site operator parking.
