The Portfolio Holder for Corporate and Finance was requested to accept £457,571 from the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy's Green Home Grant, to improve the efficiency of homes through providing External wall insulation to approximately 70 homes.
The funds would enable further properties on Lord and Bishop Streets to be offered external wall insulation and to include another area of the district.

The Portfolio Holder for Corporate and Finance was requested to accept £555,900 from the Midlands Energy Hub for the Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery Scheme Phase 2, to provide the energy efficiency.
The funds would be used to provide external wall insulation to 48 owner occupiers in thermally poor housing.
