Decision Notice | RESOLVED:
(i) That the Development Manager be authorised to undertake a procurement exercise to procure a main contractor to deliver the Fritchley Court development.
(ii) That subject to a satisfactory tender exercise and evaluation the Development Manager be authorised to identify the winning tenderer and the Council enter into an NEC Engineering and Construction Contract Version 4 – Option A with Activity Schedule with the winning tenderer.
(iii) That the Development Manager be authorised to instruct the Shared Legal Service to draft and finalise the necessary contract documentation and to enter into any warranties and agreements that may reasonably be necessary to enable completion of the development.

The Head of Housing queried how the received tender had been benchmarked. The Development Manager advised that the Senior Quantity Surveyor had reviewed the tender. The tender received after assessment was assessed as value for money.
The Head of Housing was satisfied with the report and authorised the Decision Notice.

Resolved by the Head of Housing
(i) That a NEC Engineering and Construction Contract Version 4 – Option A for the Bellamy Road Phase 1 scheme be entered into with Marvel Projects Ltd at a contract value of £293,107.38.
(ii) That the Development Manager be given authority to instruct the Shared Legal Team to draft and finalise the necessary contract documentation and to enter into any warranties and agreements that may reasonably be necessary to enable completion of the development.
