The Repairs and Asset Manager provided a summary of the report. The Portfolio Holder for Corporate and Finance was advised that the report sought approval for the acceptance of £245,214 from the Department of Business, and approval for the amendments to be made to the Housing Capital Programme to reflect the council's capital expenditure.

The Portfolio Holder for Corporate and Finance was informed that the Council were taking part in a Demonstrator Pilot on three blocks of flats (12 units) which had been identified on the Bellamy Estate which commenced in May 2022.

The Portfolio Holder for Corporate and Finance was satisfied with the report and happy to authorise the recommendations.

Resolved by the Portfolio Holder for Corporate & Finance

(i) That the council accept £245,214 from BEIS for the Social Housing Decarbonisation Wave 1 programme with Nottinghamshire County Council acting as a conduit to receive and pass on the grant funding as the lead authority.

(ii) That £733,230 match funding be earmarked from the Housing Capital Programme budgets and that income and expenditure be amended accordingly.
